AUSTRALIA- SYDNEY NATURAL STONE TRADE DELEGATION
More than 100 local companies participated in private B2B meetings with 10 well-established Turkish companies specialising in natural stone mining and supply.
Türkiye, the birthplace of natural stone, is located in one of the world’s oldest marble-producing regions, with a stone craftsmanship tradition dating back over 12,000 years to Marmara Island. The country hosts more than 80 types of natural stone across 400 unique colours and patterns, making Türkiye one of the largest and highest-quality natural stone reserves globally.
At the request of the visiting delegation, the Australian Turkish Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) was invited to support the promotion of the event. The Chamber successfully facilitated this through its various communication channels.
ATCC Representative Mr Bekir Kilic formally welcomed all representatives, prospective customers, and delegates from the Istanbul Mineral Exporters Association (IMIB) and the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade.
