The Australian Turkish Chamber of Commerce has formalised a partnership with the Afyonkarahisar Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası (Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), held during the World Chambers Congress (ICC) in Australia.
This landmark agreement reflects a mutual commitment to strengthening trade and investment opportunities between Australia and Türkiye.
The signing ceremony took place at the residence of the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Melbourne. The MoU was signed by Husnu Serteser, Chairman of the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Attila Ceylanbas, Chairman of the Australian Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
The signing was witnessed by officials from each chamber Bekir Kilic, MAICD, His Excellency Ufuk Gezer, Ambassador of Türkiye to Australia; Mr Dogan Isik, Consul General of Türkiye in Melbourne; M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB); the Honourable Natalie Suleyman MP, Minister in the Government of Victoria; Hazal Oğuz Sarıkaya, Commercial Attaché; and other distinguished guests.
