Chairman Attila Ceylanbaş and Co-Founder & Board Director Bekir Kılıç of the Australian Turkish Chamber of Commerce participated in the 14th World Chambers Congress (14WCC), held from 2–4 September 2025 in Melbourne, Australia.
The Congress brought together over 1,200 participants from more than 100 countries, serving as a premier global platform for dialogue and collaboration among chambers of commerce worldwide.
The event was officially opened by Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chair of the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF) and President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB)—Türkiye’s largest business organisation, representing 366 chambers and commodity exchanges with a membership base exceeding 2 million. Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu also serves as Chair of ICC Türkiye.
A strong delegation of major regional chambers from Türkiye participated in the Congress, including the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Ankara Commodity Exchange, Aydın Chamber of Industry, Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Denizli Chamber of Industry, Eskişehir Chamber of Industry, Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Mersin Commodity Exchange, Nizip Commodity Exchange, Sinop Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, among others.
During the Congress, Mr. Attila Ceylanbaş and Mr. Bekir Kılıç formally introduced the Australian Turkish Chamber of Commerce to chamber representatives from around the globe, with the objective of fostering bilateral trade opportunities and building strategic international partnerships.
The Congress concluded on 4 September 2025 with a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The Ankara Chamber of Commerce was honoured as the global winner at the prestigious award presentation.
